Vintage Vault - Handmade 1930/40s 'Bird' Feather Mount

This is just the crème de la crème of millinery feather mounts! A 'bird' has been made from an array of carefully sculpted and placed feathers onto a padded core, has little glass bead eyes ands beak and a little wired stem 'foot'. It can be difficult to date pieces like these, but we would estimate it to be anywhere from the 1930/40s.
In good condition, this mount will benefit from a gentle steam to get feathers perfectly in place.
