'Vanessa' 1950's German Silk Parrot Tulip Millinery Flower
This vintage German made parrot tulip style flower is been made using carefully hand dyed silk petals, which have the most beautiful frilly edge. Each petal is made from a double layer of silk with wire running between them, allowing you to freely shape the petals as you wish. In the centre you'll find intricate stamens, however due to their age a few little bits may come off, but it is hardly noticeable.
Stem measures:
Width (Will vary depending on how you arrange it!): 6cm (when closed), 12cm (when opened up).
Total Length: 54cm (18.1 inches) including the stem.
Please note these flowers will arrive closed up like a tulip. All you'll need to do is open up a petals a little here and there and voila!
