Late 1800's Antique W. Hall & Co. Elephant Brand Egg Studley Eyed Sewing Needles
W. Hall & Co, founded by William Hall in the Redditch area, a hub for needle manufacturing made these amazing 'Egg Eyed' needles which became popular for thier ease of threading in the mid 1800's. These needles date to the late 1800s with simular versions to be spotted at the V&A museum in London.
They come in black folded paper with a shimmery gold paper sticker on the outside. Old needles are particularly coveted for being extra strong, so not only are these pretty, but practical!
