Large Goose Nagorie & French Partridge Feather Hat Mount
She's big, she's beautiful, she's awesome! This large feather mount has been made using goose nagorie feathers, which have been dyed black and red, finished off with a french partridge tippet glued down onto the ends of the goose feathers and some in the centre of the mount. Gorgeous!
The feathers have all been bound together to form a stem which has been finished off with paper binding.
Feather mount measures:
Mount length: 23cm (9 inches) from tip of the feathers to end of the stem
Feather span: Approx. 15cm across
TOP TIP
You may find feathers can be a little flat from being in their packaging. We recommend lightly steaming the feathers over a boiling kettle and watch it spring into life
