50mm No.16 "Lustre" Vintage Swiss Nylon Taffeta Ribbon - 16m Roll
My oh my! These superb, practically museum quality, paper-rolled ribbons date to the 1940/50s and were made in Switzerland - the home of amazing quality trims!
Made from nylon, this ribbon is light and floaty, but does have a lovely rigidity to it. Use it to make the most amazing lush hat trims including cockades and bows.
Ribbon measures 50mm (2 inches) wide and is sold by the whole roll which measures 16.4m (18 yards).
There may be a few minor imperfections in the roll, i.e; pin marks or faults in the weave. This has been reflected in the price.
Due to its age, expect to find a little vintage dust on the outer layer.
Some colours may vary from roll to roll.
