*Slightly Imperfect* Diagonal Fine Vent Vintage Ecuador Panama Straw Capeline Hat Body - 12"
Oh boy! True Ecuador Panama straw capelines are a thing of beauty. Often used in high-end millinery, these capelines made from toquilla straw are known for their breathability and ability to bounce back into shape. It often took days for a skilled weaver to complete even just one capeline. They really are special.
We obtained a few of these beauties from a long-time hat manufacturer in England. These examples date to the 1980s-90's and we are so happy to share them with you! This one is slightly imperfect in that the top crown is ever so slightly darker than the outer brim.
This hat body features a fine diagonal line open vent detail.

Flat measurement from crown tip to brim: 12 inches
Brim width from side crown to brim edge: 11cm
