Sinamay Swirl - Make an Instant Fascinator!
These sinamay swirl shapes are ideal for making an instant fascinator! Use the centre of the swirl as your hat base and loop the sinamay tails into a pleasing shape, make a few tack stitches to keep in place and finish off by attaching to a comb or headband (not included) and you are done! From there you can add flowers, feathers and diamantes. It's perfect for the budding hat maker or for a milliner in a rush!
Each swirl varies ever so slightly in size, but will typically measure:
Main oval body at widest point: 22cm (8.6 inches)
Each swirl has 2 sinamay tails that measure 58cm (22.8 inches) & 85cm (33 inches) long.
