Plaid Pattern Smooth Paper Capeline Hat Body - 11.5"

This paper capeline has a beautifully tight weave to it and an awesome plaid pattern throughout. They would looking amazing blocked into a pillbox shape and using the excess to make the trimming! 

We obtained a few of these beauties from a long-time hat manufacturer in England. These examples date to the 1980s-90's and we are so happy to share them with you! 

Paper can be stiffened with straw stiffener or a PVA solution after blocking to keep it's shape tip top.

Capeline measures:
Flat measurement from crown tip to brim: Approximately 29.2cm (11.5 inches). Capelines can vary ever so slightly.

*Please note that this is not a finished hat but the 'body' to make one from scratch.*
