Oh boy! True Ecuador Panama straw capelines are a thing of beauty. Often used in high-end millinery, these capelines made from toquilla straw are known for their breathability and ability to bounce back into shape. It often took days for a skilled weaver to complete even just one capeline. They really are special.

We obtained a few of these beauties from a long-time hat manufacturer in England. These examples date to the 1980s-90's and we are so happy to share them with you! 

This one is the most gorgeous bright bleached straw with a classic weave set off by a very fine open weave lightning zig zag vent. Simply perfect for making a brilliant summer hat! 

Capeline measures:
Flat measurement from crown tip to brim: 11.5 inches
Brim width from side crown to brim edge: 11.5cm

*Please note that this is not a finished hat but the 'body' to make one from scratch.* 

This is a one-off factory find. Once it's gone, it's gone!
