Intricate Knotted Pattern Paper Capeline Hat Body - 12"
This paper capeline has a nice open weave with a really cool intricate knotted pattern. Some of these capelines have been slightly pre-stiffened.
We obtained a few of these beauties from a long-time hat manufacturer in England. These examples date to the 1980s-90's and we are so happy to share them with you!
Paper can be stiffened with straw stiffener or a PVA solution after blocking to keep it's shape tip top.
Capeline measures:
Flat measurement from crown tip to brim: Approximately 30.5cm (12 inches). Capelines can vary ever so slightly.
*Please note that this is not a finished hat but the 'body' to make one from scratch.*

Cone: This is the perfect size for most fascinators and for blocking out hat crowns.
Flares: This is the size in between a cone and a capeline, so good for hats with smaller brims or larger fascinators.
Capelines: This is the largest hat body, great for wide brimmed fitted hats.
