80mm No.40 "Pat. 577" Vintage Swiss Taffeta Ribbon - 16m Roll
My oh my! These superb, mega wide, practically museum quality, paper-rolled ribbons date to the 1940/50s and were made in Switzerland - the home of amazing quality trims!
This beautiful chocolate brown colour ribbon is light and floaty and has a super fine satin edge. Use it to make the most amazing lush hat trims; we're thinking mega french cockades!
Ribbon measures a whopping 80mm (3.2inches) wide and is sold by the whole roll which measures approx. 16.4m (18 yards).
There may be a few minor imperfections in the roll, i.e; pin marks or faults in the weave. This has been reflected in the price.
Due to its age, expect to find a little vintage dust on the outer layer.
