This traditional millinery straw plait braid, sometimes known as 'Milan Braid' is perfect for making your own hat bases from scratch! It varies in width from about 5-6mm wide.
This straw is amazing quality, just the kind you need for making bespoke pieces. Do bear in mind that is is not unusual for there to be the odd break in plait or slightly protruding straw fibers in some places. This is totally normal as its a natural fiber woven by hand.
Sold by the full hank which measures approximately 45m (50 yards) in length.
