Turbo Twisted Lurex Threaded Undyed Sinamay Abaca Fabric - 1/2 metre

We are obsessed with this ultra shiny lurex wrapped sinamay - it's so shiny in fact we have decided to call it 'Turbo'! 

Normal lurex threaded sinamay abaca has flat metallic threads woven alongside strands of straw, but this stuff is made from strands of undyed sinamay abaca that have been wrapped in lurex strands. The result is a glimmering sinamay fabric that almost has the appearance and shimmer of metal. Perfect for theatrical pieces! 

Designed for hat making, this fabric is lightweight and can be moulded onto hat blocks or styled freehand to make hat trims and fascinators. Fabric is lightly stiffened and is great for using as a top layer for hat making projects.

Provided in half metre lengths which is 50x92cm (19.6"x36). Multiple lengths purchased will arrive as one long continuous piece.

Sinamay fabric is made from natural fibres so there may be slight imperfections and inconsistencies in the weaves. This is totally normal and part of it's beauty.
