Vintage 1940s Millinery Satin Rayon Fabric - 1/2m
If you are into making flowers from scratch in the traditional methods then boy oh boy do we have something for you - original 'millinery satin', produced specifically for the industry is not just lush, but incredibly rare.
Dating to the 1940's, this satin fabric is thick and stiffened which lends itself beautifully for cutting petals and leafs from. It's extraordinary shine comes from the super fine weave of the rayon threads.
Conditon: This fabric is mostly in good condition but it is vital to know that there may be some discolouration at selvedge edges. You may also have some small moments of foxing in places due to age.
Fabric measures around 100cm (39 inches) wide and is provided in half metre lengths which is 50x100cm (19.6"x39"). Multiple lengths purchased will arrive as one long continuous piece.
