Imperfect Fine Spiral Vintage Ecuador Panama Straw Capeline Hat Body - 11.5" Natural
Oh boy! True Ecuador Panama straw capelines are a thing of beauty. Often used in high-end millinery, these capelines made from toquilla straw are known for their breathability and ability to bounce back into shape. It often took days for a skilled weaver to complete even just one capeline. They really are special.
We obtained a few of these beauties from a long-time hat manufacturer in England. These examples date to the 1980s-90's and we are so happy to share them with you!
This design features a fine spiral stripe. This capeline is slightly imperfect due to a brim edge tear as seen in the photos.

Flat measurement from crown tip to brim: 29.2cm (11.5 inches)
Brim width from side crown to brim edge: 10cm (4 inches)
