Chevron Fine Vent Vintage Ecuador Panama Straw Capeline Hat Body - 12"
Often used in high-end millinery, these capelines made from toquilla straw are known for their breathability and ability to bounce back into shape. It often took days for a skilled weaver to complete even just one capeline. They really are special.
We obtained a few of these beauties from a long-time hat manufacturer in England. These examples date to the 1980s-90's and we are so happy to share them with you!
This design features an fine chevron pattern around the crown and brim.

Flat measurement from crown tip to brim: 12 inches
Brim width from side crown to brim edge: 11cm
Style Notes:
We have two of these capelines in the exact same pattern, but one is noticeable made of stiffer straw. We have listed one as 'Stiff' and the other as 'Normal Stiffness' so you get the choice!
