14mm No.3 "The Millinery Satin" Vintage Swiss Satin Ribbon - 16m Roll
My oh my! These superb, practically museum quality ribbons, date to the 1940/50s, maybe even before, and were made in Switzerland - the home of amazing quality trims.
Marked as 'The Millinery Satin', this glorious single sided satin ribbon is light and floaty and has a super glossy finish. Use it to make the most amazing lush hat trims; we're thinking teeny bows! We would personally just keep this and frame it as the packaging is so lush!
Ribbon measures 13-15mm wide and is sold by the whole roll which measures 16.4m (18 yards).
Some rolls can vary ever so slightly in width by 1-2mm.
Colour notes:
Warm Ivory - on the roll it states the colour as cream.
There may be a few minor imperfections in the roll which has been reflected in the price. Due to its age, you may find some slight colour fading on the outer layer, or some slight colour variations from roll to roll. Pins were used to seal the rolls when they were made, so there may be a few little pin wholes in the ribbon on the first few layers.
