Vintage 1940's Champagne Glass Headed Wired Pearl Stems - Bag of 144
My oh my have we got something amazing for you! We found these absolutely stunning 1940's glass headed pearls in an old shut down haberdashery on the other side of the world and have not stopped talking about them since!
Made of a champagne colour glass, these teardrop 'pearl' heads have a short wire on them and were made to be used on bridal headdresses. They have the most spectacular sheen and the wire is so bendable and malleable we suspect that they may have a silver plating as evidence of tarnishing can be found in some places. It just doesn't get more gorgeous than this!Â
Sold by the gross which is approximately 144 pieces.
Pear heads vary ever so slightly in size as they were likely hand-dipped, but typically measure 6mm x11mm on a 40mm long stem.Â
Available in limited quantities - when they are gone they are gone!Â
