Twist Detail Vintage 1950's/60s Seagrass & Straw Capeline - 10-11"

This capeline is simply divine! It has an abundance of detail, and most amazingly, has been completely handwoven. The time and skill to make this beauty is immense, and it's intricate weave means it will look fantastic blocked into a simple shape.  

Dating to the 1950s/60s, this capeline is made from seagrass and a flat straw that has a twist detail running diagonally around the hat body. 

Capeline Measures:
Flat measurement from crown tip to brim: 10-11" (25-27cm)
Brim width from side crown to brim edge: 9cm (3.5 inches)

*Please note that this is not a finished hat but the 'body' to make one from scratch.*
