Vintage 1940's Hair Straightener Iron Comb

This hair iron is essentially the original hair straighteners! Dating to the 1940's, the brass top of the comb was placed on a hot surface then when at the appropriate temperature was combed through the hair to straighten it. Comb has a black painted wooden tooled handle.
Made in Germany, this comb is completely new dead stock which means it is brand new and never been used!
