Vintage 1970's Patterned Twisted Toyo Capeline - 11"

*We are down to our last of these vintage (circa 1990's) capelines. All will have slight defects and foxing in one place or the other, hence the amazing price!*

This gorgeous patterned capeline is made from twisted toyo paper, is surprisingly robust and can be stiffened with straw stiffener or a PVA solution. Dating to the 1970's, it can be easily dyed and would make for a stunning summer hat. 

Capeline measures:
Flat measurement from crown tip to brim: 27.9cm (11 inches)
Brim width from side crown to brim edge: 10.5cm (4.1 inches)

*Please note that this is not a finished hat but the 'body' to make one from scratch.*
